SAVE THE DATE for the 2nd Annual MHA Nation Veterans Affairs Department Ruck Walk at the Three Affiliated Tribes National Park.
Mark your calendar for Friday, September 18th from 9am-1pm at the East Side Trail (same location as last year). Build your endurance, enjoy the incredible landscape and conquer the ~3.6-mile trail.
Last year we had a great turnout. Let's make this year even better! Invite your friends, family, or workout partners to save the date alongside you! This special event is not just for fun and recreation, but also to raise awareness about veteran suicide and mental health.
Participants are encouraged to load a backpack or weighted vest (NOT PROVIDED) with 22lbs to symbolize the 22 veterans who commit suicide every day. If you are unable to carry 22lbs due to physical limitations, or are unable to do the entire 3.6 miles, we still want you to participate in the walk (at a distance you feel comfortable with) and be a part of this very important cause.
Stay tuned to our Facebook page or website for more details. A link to pre-register for the Ruck Walk will be available in the near future.
